Where we came from
The old version was built in a website builder: one language, addresses that could not be changed, dozens of scripts loading on every visit, and a monthly fee just to keep it alive.
What we built
Static pages
Generated at publish time, not on every visit. The home page is delivered as a single 18 KB file with no framework JavaScript.
A form that filters
Development enquiries arrive by email with the answers laid out. Bots are kept out by a hidden trap and by Cloudflare Turnstile.
Local SEO
Structured local-business data, address, opening hours and map, so the site shows up in Tenerife searches.
The legal side
Legal notice and privacy policy written for LSSI-CE and GDPR, with the controller details and retention periods.
Pages for specific searches
Sixteen repair pages by device type, each with its own address, its own title and FAQ markup so Google can show the answers expanded in the results.
Contract signing built in
The signing system from the other case runs on this same site, with no separate infrastructure.
Technology
Astro generates the HTML at publish time and Cloudflare serves it from the node nearest the visitor. The form and the contract signing run in a worker at that same edge. A year of hosting costs less than one month of the old builder.
